The Upside Down
Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes
They are so close to each other but are so different from one another, the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes and the Tucki Mountain of the Panamint Range. The dunes roll in rounded ridges, are soft with sand, and blush in yellow hues in the golden hour of the morning. The mountain rises in sharp peaks, is rough with rock, and hides in brown shadows until the later hours of the day. They look like The Upside Down, two separate worlds that bleed into each other to make a seamless landscape photo.
